face, and we’re here to help you succeed. We offer a supportive, flexible environment
that allows you to balance your academic goals with your personal and professional
life. Here are just a few reasons why we think you’ll find East Georgia a great fit:
Affordability: We pride ourselves on offering the most affordable tuition among Georgia's public
secondary education institutions, making a high-quality education accessible for all.
Small Classes: With smaller class sizes, you’ll benefit from more personalized attention from our
dedicated faculty, who are invested in your success.
Flexible Learning Options: Whether you prefer face-to-face learning or the convenience of online classes, we
offer both options to fit your schedule and learning style.
Supportive Community: Our college is more than just a place to take classes—it’s a community of students,
faculty, and staff who genuinely care about helping you reach your goals.
Additionally, we offer a range of academic programs designed to meet your goals. You
can explore all of the programs available at East Georgia State College here. Whether you’re looking to pursue a degree or gain specific skills, there’s a program
for you! We offer two-year Associate in Arts (AA) and Associate in Science (AS) degrees,
as well as three Bachelor Programs that, again, you can complete online (Business
Administration, Criminal Justice, and Organizational Leadership).
To help you get started, we also invite you to attend one of our Virtual Information
Sessions, where you can ask any questions you may have, learn more about the application
process, and connect with other adult learners who are also starting this exciting
journey. Sign up for an upcoming sessionbelow— we’d love to see you there!
After graduating high school in 1997, I knew that I wanted to go to college and pursue
a science degree; in fall 1997, I did just that. Although motivated to get a degree,
life and work became my focal point. Twenty years later, I found myself finally graduating
with a Bachelor in Biology degree from EGSC. I've learned to never give up on your
dreams; with determination, will, and desire, all things are possible.

Knowledge is power. Coming to college in the United States was a dream that came true,
but, more importantly, it has provided a growing experience. EGSC has been pivotal
to my success as they have created an environment for me to learn, gain more experience
and form long-term friendships with faculty and peers.

East Georgia State College was an integral part of returning to school and continuing
my education. It provided a close-knit family environment where I felt comfortable
and accepted as a nontraditional student. I now have a fulfilling career that I love
as an Operating Room Nurse. EGSC helped me to help others.
